ALL FILMS HAVE NECESSARY CERTIFICATES

1. Automotive films

All Llumar and EURO FILM films have been certified by the Institute of Glass and Ceramics in Kraków. This means, that uniformly hardened automotive window panes can be installed in places of no influence on driver's field of vision and marked with a certificate number issued for the company DYSKRET Folie Okienne.
According to the decree of the Minister of Transportation and Marine Economy - Department of Automotive Transportation, dated 09.07.1998, there are no legal bases to ban installation of the above mentioned films on window panes of no influence on driver's field of vision.
The UN EEC Regulation No. 43 allows glass of light transmission below 70% to be installed in vehicles, as window panes other than front ones (which means rear-side and rear window panes).

2. Protective films

Classification of window panes:

• 4mm thick window panes, with 125 microns thick polyester film installed, meet O1 class requirements for puncture and breaking resistance, and may be classified as safe window panes,
• 8mm window panes, with 225 microns thick polyester film installed, meet P1 class requirements for hand attack resistance, and may be classified as safe window panes,
• 12mm window panes with 300 microns thick polyester film installed, meet P2 class requirements for hand attack resistance, and may be classified as safe window panes. These window panes also meet A1 class requirements, according to DIN 52290 standard.
